Target Audience

The target audience will include gastroenterologists, hepatologists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Educational Objectives:

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Define the prevalence, pathophysiology, 4 stages of progression and clinical manifestations of PBC
  • Apply clinical and evidence-based diagnostic criteria and prognostic models to evaluate patients for PBC
  • Implement clinical and evidence-based individualized PBC treatment plans into clinical practice to improve long term outcomes

    This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and the Chronic Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF).
