The MASH Alliance Program: Advancing Liver Health Education in the United States
In 2024, the Global NASH/MASH Council (GNC), Chronic Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF), and Gastroenterology and Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP) partnered to launch the MASH Alliance Program, a groundbreaking educational initiative aimed at improving the diagnosis and management of Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
Through this collaborative effort, more than 5,000 community healthcare practitioners were reached through in-person education, and over 19,000 participated in live virtual programs. The program delivers best clinical practices and the latest treatment strategies directly to providers managing patients with MASH in community settings.
To enhance the learning experience, the MASH Alliance Program also offers digital resources, including:
- Interactive clinical algorithms for MASH diagnosis and treatment
- Expert-led online modules focused on best practices in MASH care
- In-depth educational content on emerging therapies and management strategies
Building on the success of 2024, the program is continuing its mission through the MASH Connect City Series, expanding outreach across the U.S. in 2025 and 2026. For more information about MASH Alliance programs please visit our website at www.mashalliance.org.
