Target Audience
This educational program will address the educational needs of health care professionals on the screening, diagnosis and management of patients with chronic liver disease.
 
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
Communicate the prevalence of and risk factors for HIV/HCV coinfection and recognize the effects of coinfection on HCV disease progression
Discuss the treatment of HCV in this special patient population by reviewing data on direct acting antivirals and explaining special considerations such as drug interactions
